We had the pleasure of spending a couple of hours with this sweet family last weekend. Young Lexi was the perfect model but little Maddox wasn't crazy about having his picture taken at all (it must be in the air lately). Talk of green jelly beans and matchbox cars eventually brought him around ... to my best assistant anyway. When he left, he boldly proclaimed that he didn't really like me ... but he liked "that one" as he pointed to Jared. It was great for an all-around laugh but ... I'm thinking I may need to work on my children skills. {smile}

It's been so much fun to be a part of this family's life as they've grown bigger ... and grown up. Our session had a bit of a hard start with Baby H. feeling a little unsure that he wanted to particpate. It took a little coaxing from mom and dad, a little singing and dancing from Gammy (who was strategically placed behind me)... and one very yummy lollipop to make him smile. When we finally had a happy baby, it didn't seem to matter that the lollipop stick was part of the picture. This was a true precious moment ... one that made my day a little brighter just by being there.

So ... here is a sneak peek into our time together ... one sweet family and one grape lollipop later.
